Senior Maintenance Technician

“Hands on” Facilities/Operations Maintenance Role
- Ensure the maintenance of production and other facilities equipment utilising internal or external resources/contractors as appropriate.
- Coordinate the activities of external contractors while on site.
- Perform and supervise maintenance related repairs.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment.
- Ensure that a scheduled maintenance program is implemented and adhered to.
- Ensure that all maintenance records and documentation are maintained in line with Quality Systems requirements.
- Liaise with parts and equipment suppliers and initiate purchase orders as required.
- Work in conjunction with other operational team section heads to ensure that operational efficiency and effectiveness is achieved and that all business goals are met.
Candidate Profile
· Senior Trades Qualified Fitter or equivalent.
· Minimum 5/10 years post qualification experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Good “Hands On” & “Can Do” attitude, and ability to work unsupervised in a
multifunctional team.
· Good interpersonal/organisation skills.
