Ireland is home to External manufacturing's global headquarters, the business unit responsible for the management of manufacturing contract operations (CMO's) and ensuring reliable supply of product to patients across the Bristol Myers Squibb global network.
This includes management of, and working in conjunction with, third party contract manufacturers and internal manufacturing sites. In Ireland, External Manufacturing has two sites; Global Headquarters based in Dublin 15 and a distribution centre in Shannon, Co Clare.

The Role
Bristol Myers Squibb External Manufacturing is currently seeking applications for a Senior Manager Finance based in Ireland. Reporting directly to the Finance Director for External Manufacturing, this role will involve considerable interaction with cross functional colleagues both in the US and Europe.

The Role
Bristol Myers Squibb External Manufacturing is currently seeking applications for a Senior Manager Finance based in Ireland. Reporting directly to the Finance Director for External Manufacturing, this role will involve considerable interaction with cross functional colleagues both in the US and Europe.
Responsibilities
- ExM Finance Business Partner to the Global Procurement Team
- Drive Governance and process for ExM Budget and projection cycles
- Provide Budget and Projection presentations aligned with GP
- Work with GP on SPI initiatives reconciling ExM contributions
- Finance support for operational functionality of contracts
- Supporting Finance Director in identifying financial risk and quantifying operational risk from contracts
- Working with GP and BU to ensure clear understanding of contract hand overs
- An experienced qualified accountant with a comprehensive knowledge of costing and financial analysis, accounting principles, and internal controls. ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CPA with +6years PQE.
- Strong excel skills essential and knowledge of SAP ERP desirable.
- Develops strong, effective work relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and persuade others to accomplish challenging goals and objectives.
- Builds and maintains a network of key individuals necessary for obtaining and disseminating information critical to the operation of the External Manufacturing Business Unit.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and manage cross functional teams in a complex, changing environment to deliver value-added results from an overall corporate perspective.
- Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills in the execution of job responsibilities.
- This is a EG130 role.
