About The Role
The Senior Product Designer is part of the Product team and drives through the entire product lifecycle, from initial research to final delivery of user experiences. They sit at the center of business, technology, and users, and design intuitive user experiences and interfaces.
What You’ll Own
- Lead end-to-end product design, from research and ideation through prototyping and implementation, while advocating for solutions that deliver both user benefit and business value.
- Create and maintain comprehensive design artifacts, including journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed specifications throughout the product lifecycle.
- Participate as well as drive user research initiatives, leading workshops with internal teams and end users, developing hypotheses, and translating insights into actionable design decisions.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, customers, and other stakeholders to define and solve complex problems.
- Partner closely with product managers and customer success to understand market and user trends and engineering teams to ensure precise implementation.
- Analyze product heuristics, identify experience gaps, and develop strategic plans to address them.
- Oversee and nurture the product’s design system, collaborating with engineering to ensure successful deployment and adoption.
- Provide mentorship to junior designers and manage external design contractors as needed.
Requirements
- Technical Requirements
- Experience with design softwares such as Miro, Figma, etc.
- Experience with user research techniques such as usability testing, surveys, and interviews.
- Familiarity with design systems and the ability to build and maintain one.
- Understanding of front-end and back-end concepts.
- Language Requirements
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Design, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience working with B2B software, preferably SaaS enterprise technology.
- Strong portfolio showcasing work across the product development lifecycle.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs that meet business and user needs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to lead and facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
