WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Senior Software Engineer on the DRMM Team, you will be at the heart of developing and enhancing Kaseya’s Remote Management and Monitoring (RMM) cloud service. This powerful platform enables customers worldwide to manage and support their distributed devices through cutting-edge tools deployed on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Your primary focus will be working on our browser-based Web Remote tool, helping build next-generation solutions that allow users to connect and control desktops from anywhere in the world.
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in modern web technologies and a passion for crafting seamless, high-performance user experiences. In this role, you'll drive the development of our web applications, contribute to key architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop & Optimise: Build, maintain, and enhance scalable, high-quality web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features that drive our product forward.
- Code with Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and accessible code that follows modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript standards.
- Ensure Performance & Stability: Conduct rigorous unit and integration testing using React Testing Library and Jest to maintain application stability.
- Solve Complex Challenges: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, continuously optimizing for performance and scalability.
- Lead Build & Dependency Management: Utilise Webpack for build optimization and manage dependencies using PNPM/NPM.
- Streamline Deployment: Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve build and deployment processes.
- Work in Agile: Operate within an Agile/SCRUM environment, using Jira for project tracking and sprint planning.
- Mentor & Guide: Support and mentor less experienced engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6/ES7), React, and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of modern frontend development best practices.
- Solid expertise in HTML and CSS, including experience with responsive design and accessibility principles.
- Hands-on experience with React Testing Library and Jest, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack and package managers such as PNPM/NPM.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployment workflows.
BONUS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (NICE TO HAVE):
- Experience with GraphQL (Apollo) for efficient data fetching
- A background in computer science, particularly in networks, hardware, or software engineering.
- Experience working in Agile/SCRUM/Kanban teams, contributing to a fast-paced and iterative development cycle.
