What is the Role:
- We are seeking a driven and ambitious Senior Technical Analyst with a strong background in technology delivery, technical analysis and core banking systems. This role plays a critical part in delivering the bank’s strategic core banking solution and will be part of the Corporate Delivery team for Core Banking.
- As a Senior technical analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that successful integration across multiple technology stacks and domains. You will coordinate efforts among multiple teams, facilitating collaboration and ensuring alignment on project goals. You will regularly be required to problem solve and unblock teams so that we deliver the best product we can to our customers.

Key accountabilities;
- Effectively engages and manages stakeholders, demonstrates sensitivity to their requirements, and appropriately offers constructive challenges. Communicates potential solutions to senior stakeholders and influences overall solution recommendations and desired outcomes.
- Conducts thorough technical analysis to ensure proposed solutions fulfil customer and business requirements.
- Proactively analyses business needs and issues, identifies viable options for consideration, and recommends optimal courses of action.
- Collaborates closely with both internal colleagues and external partners or vendors, showcasing strong teamwork to address complex challenges and deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Coordinates delivery plans and solutions from other Tribes necessary to provide comprehensive end-to-end solutions for customers.
- Promotes collaboration between functional and technical leads to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring consistency with AIB’s Technology strategy.
What you Will Bring ;
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical analysis and/or technical delivery, preferably in the banking or financial services sector
- Ability to understand and track project delivery plans and milestones.
- Ability to understand multiple technologies – API’s, xml, microservices, data analysis
- Capable of building strong relationships with teams and key stakeholders
- Proven experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
- Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and Agile methodologies
- Any migration experience a plus
