About the Role
As a Senior UX Designer at Overhaul, you will take a leadership role in designing easy-to-use, solution-focused products for our clients.
You will be part of a collaborative but small team, allowing for significant individual contribution while fostering continuous knowledge sharing. You will not only maintain but elevate the quality of our offerings, working closely with the Design, Product Management, and Engineering teams to conceptualize and execute world-class digital experiences.
We expect you to provide thought leadership by advocating for UX best practices both internally and externally and to influence strategic goals by aligning UX initiatives with business goals to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design projects across the multi-channel B2B spectrum by generating innovative design solutions that enhance user experience in complex environments.
- Conduct comprehensive user research and usability testing to better understand pain points and drive the design process.
- Leading by example in crafting meticulous wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
- Champion user-centered design principles across the organization, influencing product strategy and direction through deep customer empathy and data-driven decision making.
- Spearhead the development and refinement of a cohesive design system that enhances productivity and ensures consistency across various platforms.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to align design objectives with business goals, ensuring a seamless user experience that also meets commercial targets.
- Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to harness collective creativity and drive innovation within the team.
- Commit to personal growth and the development of team members by staying abreast of industry trends and sharing knowledge.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of UX design experience, preferably in the logistics or supply chain management sector, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise across various projects.
- Advanced degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading design projects and teams with a strategic mindset and exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
- Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision, coupled with a thorough understanding of front-end development to facilitate effective collaboration with engineering teams.
- Outstanding communication skills, capable of effectively articulating design visions and strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead within a design team, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
