Managing a busy & established Photo Shop in Ennis. This is an ideal role for an individual in management, who would prefer more customer interaction and is keen to learn a new skill-namely how to produce photo products.

We currently looking for a new Shop Manager to join our small team. The role is varied and interesting, including:
- operation of the shop on a day to day basis, reporting to the regional manager
- guide the small team in maintaining our quality of service and driving sales volumes
- large focus on customer service - helping the customers get the best product possible
- Use of the photo tools and equipment to produce customer orders, such as, Photo Prints, Canvas Photos, Photo gifts (mugs etc), Photo Books, 35mm film development, photo restoration etc - full training is provided on the job
- sales of photo products, such as cameras, frames etc
- management of stock levels to ensure customer orders can be produced and rolling out new product lines as needed
- manage our eCommerce fulfillment - ensure orders are processed and dispatched in a timely manner (see www.print35.ie for our online offerings)
Candidate Requirements
- While an interest in Photography and Experience of same would be an advantage, it certainly it is not the main requirement. We provide training and most employees have joined us with limited Photo Experience (managers included).
- A_ passion for customer service_ is a must - we have very high satisfaction rates and it is core to our success. Ability to demonstrate such passion is a must
- An_ interest in technology_ and being comfortable with it is necessary. We train everyone, but if you are not comfortable using a PC with basic Office packages, then you would find this role challenging.
- We are looking for a candidate with multiple years of Retail Management - who wants to branch out and learn new skills and interact with customers. It is the biggest plus we hear from our existing managers that because the team is small, the manager leads the shop, but also participates in and directs all aspects of the customer's order production.
- This role requires excellent attention to detail - as well as ability to manage multiple tasks across any given day

The role is a 5 day week, 9.15 to 18.15 daily. The shop is open Mon to Sat, so cover is split across these days - with the regional manager providing cover on days off.
