Role Overview
- Reporting to: Person in Charge
- Contract Type: Full-Time
- Working Week: Average of 40 hours a week, day and waking night shifts required
- Location of Work: Roscommon. New centre, opening in 8-12 weeks

Role Responsibilities
- Facilitate and encourage decision-making, independence, and personal development.
- Provide support in daily living skills, including personal hygiene, health and appearance.
- Work in a person-centred manner to meet individual care plans and goals.
- Adhere to policies and procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice
- Administer and document the dispensation of prescribed medication.
- Undertake key worker responsibilities, helping service owners achieve goals.
- Document and report incidents and complaints involving staff, service owners or visitors.
- Work with MDT to achieve the goals of service owners.
Essential Requirements
- Social Care Worker: Minimum Level 7 qualification in Applied Social Studies or equivalent.
- Social Care Worker: Registered (or in process) with the Social Care Workers Registration Board by CORU.
- Social Care Assistant: QQI Level 5 (8 modules) in Healthcare or equivalent
- Hold a full Irish driving license
- Prior experience in social care or healthcare.
- Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills.
- Garda Vetting/Police Clearance
