Job Title: Solutions Architect

Job Purpose
To lead the design and architecture of CR2’s digital banking solutions from pre-sales through to implementation. The Solutions Architect ensures that each project is underpinned by a robust, scalable, and customer-aligned solution design. This role is pivotal in translating customer requirements into actionable, cost-effective, and technically sound solutions that drive successful project delivery and long-term client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
- Develop and document end-to-end solution designs for all implementation projects.
- Define system architecture, integration points, and migration strategies.
- Ensure alignment of solution design with customer business requirements and CR2’s product capabilities.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary technical liaison between CR2, customers, and third-party vendors.
- Lead technical workshops and design sessions with clients and internal teams.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in business-friendly language.
Pre-Sales & Scoping
- Support pre-sales activities by contributing to RFP responses, solution proposals, and cost estimations.
- Identify and quantify development efforts, integration needs, and project risks.
Project Support
- Provide architectural oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and delivery teams to ensure solution integrity.
- Identify and resolve design gaps or misalignments during implementation.
Continuous Improvement
- Capture learnings from each project to refine solution design practices.
- Contribute to the evolution of CR2’s solution architecture frameworks and methodologies.

- Deep understanding of enterprise software architecture, system integration, and digital banking platforms (BankWorld, Sparrow).

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–7 years of experience in a Professional Services or consulting role, with a focus on solution architecture.
- Proven track record in delivering complex software implementation projects, ideally in the banking or fintech sector.
- Hands-on experience with CR2’s BankWorld and Sparrow platforms across full project lifecycles.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and middleware technologies.
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary, cross-cultural teams.
Success Metrics
- Solution Quality
- 100% of solution designs are approved by stakeholders and meet customer requirements.
- Less than 5% of post-implementation issues attributable to design flaws.
- Customer Satisfaction
- Achieve a minimum customer satisfaction score of 8/10 on solution design and delivery.
- Project Efficiency
- Deliver solution designs within agreed timelines and budget estimates.
- Contribute to a reduction in project rework by at least 20% through improved design accuracy.
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Positive feedback from internal teams and customers on collaboration and leadership.
- Active mentorship of junior team members and contribution to knowledge sharing.
