Overview
The Emergency Staff Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the model of nursing care practiced in the relevant care setting. The Emergency staff nurse will provide holistic, person centred care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for service users.

Professional Qualifications & Experience
- Be registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bórd Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann) or be entitled to be so

Specific Requirements:
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate an understanding of emergency
- Experience working within the Irish healthcare setting
- Recent experience working in an acute setting
Desirable Requirements:
- Foundation Course in Emergency Nursing or equivalent
- Post Graduate Qualification in Emergency Nursing
- Evidence of participation in recognised education programmes such as ACLS and TNCC
