What is the opportunity?
In this role, you will;
- Develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies that align with the banks objectives and drive overall procurement efficiency
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to advise strategic decisions.
- Manage supplier contracts to ensure strategic alignment and cost efficiency.
- Support the evaluation and identification of potential suppliers that meet the banks standards for quality and sustainability.
- Analyse spend data to support the identification of cost savings and drive value.
- Develop strategies to maximise value for the organisation and reduce costs where appropriate (e.g., supplier consolidation and the renegotiation of contracts).
- Support the development of category sourcing strategies e.g. Banking Operations, Infrastructure, HR etc.
- Be responsible for the drafting, contract discussions and management of key supplier contracts.
- Identify and assess potential risks within the supply chain, developing and implement strategies to mitigate these risks
- Ensure all sourcing activities align with regulatory requirements and internal procurement policies.
What will make you stand out?
- A professional qualification in Procurement is desirable e.g., CPSM, CIPs IIPMM
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
