Four Seasons Leisure Club, Monaghan, are currently recruiting a Swim Instructor to join our leisure team!
The role involves all aspects of the day-to-day organisation and operation of the club facilities; From taking responsibility for swimming lessons, reception duties, supervising gym/pool area and retaining members by delivering excellent customer service in a safe, welcoming and fun environment.
Applicants must be flexible and versatile as the role involves multi-tasking and will vary depending on the day based on the needs of the club.
All applicants MUST have a current first aid qualification AND a life-guard qualification.
Ideal Candidate:
- A minimum of 1+ years’ experience in the leisure industry.
- Qualified Lifeguard from RLSS UK or IWS.
- Qualified Swim Teacher from Swim Ireland, IWS or STA.
- Qualified in Occupational First Aid.
- Plant room experience a distinct advantage.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be a team player with the ability to work in a busy environment.
Description
- Interacting with guests in a professional manner at all times.
- Reception duties including answering the phone, emails, social media messages / greeting members and hotel guests.
- Maintain all areas of the Leisure Centre to a clean, safe and high standard.
- Ensure equipment is cleaned daily and maintained to a high standard.
- Monitor members training by walking the gym floor and offering assistance.
- Conduct swim lessons to a high standard.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, dedicated and hard working with the capability of carrying out all duties to a consistently high standard. Early mornings, late evenings and weekend work will apply to this role.

Pay: From €13.50 per hour
