Nestled in the heart of Dublin city centre, our bespoke house is a beacon of sartorial elegance. We offer bespoke tailoring, alterations, and exclusive services tailored to the discerning individual.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Bespoke Tailor to join our team with a love of the art of tailoring & a genuine enthusiasm for creating beautiful, unique garments that reflect the individuality of each customer. Candidates must also contribute to the warm, personalised experience that Paul Henry Tailoring is known for, as you will be required to be involved in some customer-facing roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and finish bespoke garments, from business suits, legal attire, military and casual wear.
- Participate in fitting clients while providing a keen eye for detail and adjustments as needed.
- Stay abreast of tailoring techniques and fashion trends to elevate our offerings continuously.
- Engage with clients to understand their style preferences and requirements, offering expert advice on fabrics, cuts, and trends.
- Conducted precise measurements, pattern drafting, and alterations to ensure a near-perfect fit
- Collaborate with the front-of-house (customer service) & sales teams to ensure an exceptional in-store experience.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in high-end bespoke tailoring.
- Excellent hand-sewing & a good knowledge of garment construction
- Pattern-making (Preferred but not essential)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- A proactive team player who contributes to the warm, inclusive culture of Paul Henry Tailoring.
- Must be legally allowed to work in EU or be EU citizen.
