The role:
Our central tax team in Northwood provides a mix of tax, advisory and compliance advice to a vastly diverse client base.
Due to continued growth we are seeking to appoint a new Tax Senior to join the team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the management team in maintaining and developing the firm's relationship with a portfolio of clients including co-ordination of service offerings from other departments
- Ensuring that the payment and return filing deadlines are met for a portfolio of tax clients
- Working with the Partners and the management team on advising private clients on potential structures suitable for their business, transfer pricing and profit repatriations and succession planning opportunities
- Acting as a key member of an integrated client service team working on a wide range of assignments including tax advisory projects
The ideal candidate
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (AITI/CTA) or ACA/ACCA with a strong tax background.
- Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in tax compliance and advisory, ideally in practice.
- Strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation; exposure to international tax issues desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships.
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise workload, and work independently as well as part of a team.
