Reporting to the ICT Programme Manager, the Technical Recovery & Migration role is a senior technical lead role within SETU ICT organisation. They will be responsible for supporting the ongoing recovery/migration of all relevant ICT systems and services following the cybersecurity incident of October 2025. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between internal ICT teams and external service providers, helping to coordinate technical recovery efforts and align them with the operational needs of the University in preparation for the 2025/2026 academic year. This is intended to be a contract of up to four months duration which may be extended depending on the completion of the ICT recovery and migration programme.
They will have experience coordinating technical input from multiple stakeholders, supporting ICT recovery priorities, and facilitating communication across technical and non-technical audiences with a strong background in the prompt delivery of services, while following best practices. They will have demonstrated an ability to strategically oversee third party vendors, providers and ongoing services. They will have a demonstrated history of delivering advice and guidance to all relevant stakeholders.
