What you’ll do as a Technology Programme Manager

We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of major technology programmes, from initiation through execution to closure, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and to-spec delivery. This could be at a portfolio level with multiple accountable delivery teams, or at a programme management level for major complex programmes.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for technology major programmes, aligning them with the organisation's long-term objectives. Developing and maintaining a comprehensive programme plan, including defining objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the success and impact of technology programmes.
  • Develop and manage budgets for major technology programmes. Monitor budgetary allocations for each project within the portfolio, track expenditures against approved budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities or potential overruns. Proactively provide financial forecasts / reports to senior management.
  • Ensure that programmes adhere to best practices and quality standards in technology development, implementation by adopting consistency with ways of working.

What You’ll Bring

  • 12-15 years of relevant experience in technology and programme management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity, ideally in a multi-national omni-channel retail environment.
  • Extensive experience in technology programme management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Excellent leader and trusted advisor with extensive experience of developing senior business relationships. • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving project goals while fostering collaboration and teamwork.
  • Deep understanding of programme governance, planning, risk management, and reporting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels, including C-suite
