First Direct Couriers/Pony Express is seeking a Telephonist/customer services/admin rep. for our busy office based in Dublin 7. Monday to Friday 9am-6.00pm.
Job Description: receiving all incoming calls from clients, processing and issuing jobs and addressing any query a client may have.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
.Booking national and international overnight deliveries and collections.
. Booking clinical waste collections and getting paperwork and supplies ready for drivers. Filing paperwork.
· To take all telephone & email bookings. Get full details of the pick up and delivery address. To screen all calls coming in and forward to the relevant person or department.
· To work with the Base controllers in relaying any possible delays that might emerge during the course of the day.
· Answer any query a client might have in relation to a particular job.
· To assist in POD (signature) retrieval, where possible over the phone.
