Ergo are seeking a Trading Floor Operations & Risk Manager for a permanent position in Dublin city centre . The successful candidate will join an exciting Irish-owned Financial Securities Trading company with an exceptional culture and career opportunities.
You will manage trading floors ensuring that they run smoothy and efficiently while nurturing internal and external business relationships in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid role and candidates should have 3+ years of experience working in a similar environment with a love of data analysis, global markets and process improvement.
An openness to covering US trading hours (1 PM - 9 PM) is desirable.
What will you do?
- Managing key operational and risk functions on trading floors during European and US market hours
- Fostering and growing relationships with trading exchanges, clearing banks, software vendors and other key partners, as well as potential new partners
- Execution of business data processes to ensure smooth running of trading support services
- Advocating and exploiting avenues for growth in P&L operations globally
- Co-ordinating trader recruitment Programs
- Managing outsourced teams and partnerships
- Managing intern and trainee trader hiring processes, liasing with recruiters, universities and university student groups
- Continuous professional development in trading compliance and regulation
You should have experience in the following:
- Trading / Asset Management / Funds (3+ years minimum)
- Major functional areas of a regulated financial service group - financial markets, risk, treasury, audit, compliance, outsourcing
- People, Operations and Project Management
- Remote team management
- Data Analysis tools such as Excel, Python, SQL
- Coding / process automation
