Kellett’s (Oldcastle) Ltd are based in North East Meath employing approximately 170 people in a highly skilled manufacturing environment.
As one of Ireland's leading bed manufacturer, our product's are 100% Irish made, a tradition spanning across 3 generations at the Kellett Group.
We produce premium quality mattresses, divans and headboards delivering across Ireland.
Role:
The purpose of this role to learn and support the day-to-day supervision of production operations, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to quality standards. This role is designed to develop the trainee into a competent Production Supervisor through structured hands-on training and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Willing to learn and cross train in other areas of the business
- Efficiently perform daily work tasks to meet specified targets within the department.
- Good attention to detail and work to meet our high standards of quality.
- Be flexible in role to perform other tasks as may be assigned to you from time to time.
- Work effectively within a team environment.
- Operate equipment according to company procedures.
- Your responsibilities are not limited to those outlined above, and you are expected to carry out other reasonable duties from time to time, as requested by your manager.
- Demonstrate a lead by example approach to all aspects of Health & Safety, be fully compliant with Company Health & Safety: policies, procedures, systems and rules, report all hazards and incidents and ensure that you work safely at all times.
