Lally Tours are currently hiring for an exciting new position of Travel Co-ordinator within our customer service team, here in Galway City.
Our Travel Co-ordinators are the front face of the business - they are integral part of the team as they assist guests with bookings, sell tickets, greet passengers on board our tours and they support and oversee the day to day aspects of our front desk.
With a head for quick thinking, attention to detail and an outgoing personality, our Travel Co-ordinators keep the day running smoothly, working along side our team of drivers, guides, back office team and management to ensure our guests receive the best possible experience.
Everyday activities include:
- Bookings Administration: Confirming & processing of bookings, answering inquiries etc.
- Customer Service: Selling tickets and manning the tickets & tours desk.
- Guest Management: Co-ordinating pickups, conducting tour check-ins and liaising with guests.
Suitable candidates would have:
- A 3rd level qualification in the area of hospitality, tourism or similar
- A strong passion for customer service and people
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A local knowledge of the west of Ireland, particularly Galway City
- Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environments
- Experience in travelling around Ireland and abroad
- Very strong computer skills, particularly in the use of word processing, emails and spreadsheets
- Previous professional experience in working with international customers in the service industry e.g. in a bar, restaurant, front desk, reception, travel agency, tour operator, tourism office, etc.
- Previous professional experience in administration and upselling
- Ability and confidence to take initiative and pursue a project which has been allocated to them
This is a position with potential advancement & career progression for the right candidate, as such this position may suit a new college graduate, especially within the field of tourism, hospitality or business.

Pay: From €13.50 per hour
