Job Title: Mobile Breakdown Truck Tyre Fitter
Reports to: Supervisor/Manager
Location: Roscommon/ Athlone
Job Summary:
The Mobile Breakdown Truck Tyre Fitter is responsible to respond to customer breakdowns in the Roscommon/ Athlone and surrounding area. Company Van fully kitted to assist with breakdowns in Athlone/Galway and surrounding area.
Key Tasks Required:
- Repairing and replacing customer's Truck tyres as needed
- Replacing wheels using the torque wrench to achieve final tightening of wheel nuts
- Undertaking full inspection before hand-over to customer
- Recording all relevant details in the breakdown book
- Using materials, parts and equipment in an efficient manner
- Full compliance with all safety procedures/truck operations essential safety steps
- Ensuring own vehicle is kept clean, with adequate stock and is serviced when necessary
- Adhering fully to the Company's operations manual
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers
- Understand and adhere to all the Company policies and procedures/operations manual
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
- Must have some level of truck tire experience
- Full Clean Driving Licence essential
