POSITION OVERVIEW:
The VP of Managed Services will play a pivotal role in building, maintaining and growing client relations, understanding the customer’s needs and meeting those through the effective management of a team of Service Delivery Directors and Managers.
The successful candidate will perform a range of duties with overall responsibility for the careful planning, co-ordination and delivery of client resourcing projects in line with our customer needs. The VP will engage with all areas of the business to ensure the consistent deployment of processes, resources and technology to achieve the business goals.
Key areas of responsibility: Business development, budgetary control, customer relationship management, networking, strategic planning, people management and performance reporting, globally.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Primarily ensure a best-in-class service for your customer. You will need a proven track record for driving innovation within a service level. We want our VP to turn up every day and inspire our teams globally.
- Overall responsibility for leading and delivering a best practice managed resource services operation to a wide range of clients globally.
- Maintain and develop the existing Managed Services portfolio.
- Establish SLAs and operational KPIs for managed services and driving continuous improvement.
- Provide vision, leadership and guidance to the team for the full managed services life cycle in line with EOS’s culture and values.
- Work with the wider sales team, identifying and engaging with new customers to develop the existing client portfolio.
- Identify and optimizing the resources needed to plan, develop and deliver a flexible and scalable service against client needs and scope of work, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Work with the HR and Recruiter teams to source the required skills and knowledge, strategically planning on-boarding, training and development, succession planning and retention goals.
- Proactively engage and negotiate with senior level customers ensuring that services are evaluated, managed and delivered to agreed levels of availability and performance.
- Advise and guide SDM’s to co-ordinate new business wins and vendor transfer arrangements.
- Provide ongoing proactive client management through regular business reviews, executive engagement, and regular client communications.
- Meet / exceed revenue and margin targets for the business.
- Lead and participate in strategic review meetings and reporting back to the Executive team.
- Assist in the hiring of strategic personnel and providing training and coaching to a team of SDM’s.
- Maintain open channels of communication, working collaboratively with other team functions globally.
- Be a proactive contributor to support the organization with the ability to undertake projects and tasks assigned by the Executive team.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Demonstrate a minimum of 10 years senior experience
- Preferred experience in data centre or logistics environment
- Minimum 4-5 years in a senior management position with experience of managing technology, staff and budgets
- 2-3 years leadership experience working on RFPs and proposals for managed services
- Experience building and managing relationships with customers and key stakeholders
- Experience with data analysis and making data-driven leadership decisions
- Flexible in relation to working hours to support operational needs
- A client-centric approach combined with strategic thinking
- Ability to navigate complex and fast-paced environments, balancing competing priorities while maintaining a strong sense of urgency in driving initiatives to completion
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to readily communicate with all levels of the organization
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.

Fluent English is essential, while communication in German, Danish or Dutch would be beneficial.
