We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Maintenance Lead on a client’s premises in Baldonnell Business Park, Dublin 22.
The hours of the job are as follows:
- Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm. (Additional hours may be required upon request.)
Roles and responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be required to deliver and coordinate daily hygiene and maintenance activities across a busy warehouse environment. This role is essential to ensuring that the facility remains clean, safe, and fully operational. The successful candidate will manage daily cleaning routines, operate floor-cleaning and waste-handling equipment, and maintain hygiene standards aligned with health and safety requirements.
Core Responsibilities:
- Daily warehouse cleaning and hygiene upkeep
- Waste management and cardboard baling
- Floor care and scrubber drier operation
- Boundary and high-level dusting
- Equipment checks and maintenance
- Health and safety compliance
- Reporting and scheduling of tasks
Job Overview:
- Conduct full walk-through inspection of the warehouse.
- Deep clean of all warehouse floors using scrubber drier.
- Clear and remove accumulated cardboard and general waste and ensure these areas are sanitised.
- Bale all collected cardboard; clear baler area and stack bales.
- Empty all bins and waste points across the facility.
- Check cleaning equipment & Stores; log and report any issues.
- Update cleaning log and plan remainder of week based on site activity.
- Conduct full warehouse sweep and mop of manual cleaning areas.
- Operate scrubber drier across mid-traffic floor areas.
- Perform spot cleaning of identified areas (e.g., spillages or leaks).
- Dust structural boundary and high-level dusting and ledge cleaning (using poles or platform
- Conduct boundary litter pick and perimeter check.
- Clean racking base edges, storage dividers, and loading dock surrounds.
- Conduct safety inspection of all cleaning equipment and machinery.
- Inspect and wipe down loading bays. Must be coordinated with warehouse manager re deliveries
- Conduct targeted floor cleaning using scrubber drier in high-use zones.
- Conduct full end-of-week floor scrub and mop across the warehouse
- Review and report on week’s maintenance issues or cleaning incidents.
- Submit activity logs and tasks checklist to Warehouse Manager.
