We have an interesting opportunity available here at Traditional Cheese Company. In this position, you will carry out warehouse duties as outlined below. There will also be some days when you will be require will deliver product to food service and retail customers.
Responsibilities
Adhere to manual handling requirements
Ensure product is picked accurately - quantities & weight
Be aware of temperature control in the relevant areas
Ensure product is loaded and unloaded correctly
Be polite and courteous to customers
Awareness and adherence to allergen requirements and controls
Ensure product is picked accurately - quantities & weight.
Ensure all goods are utilised in the correct rotation by applying FIFO (first in first out) to minimise stock obsolescence.
Notify a member of the Quality Assurance team of any quality issues as they arise.
Operational Requirements
Effective communication and working relationships at all levels, escalating issues as appropriate
Adherence to company policies including dress code, attitudes and behaviour
Attend and contribute to training
To respond positively to any reasonable request from a Manager or Customer
Promote team working
Flexibility to cover similar roles in the business as required
Adherence to the Food Safety and Quality Management System
Full Clean Driving Licence
Fort Truck Licence
