We are currently recruiting a full time Raw Material Intake Operator/Warehouse Operative for our client site in Dublin 8. A bulk raw materials intake job involves managing the receipt, storage, and preparation of large quantities of raw materials for production, ensuring a smooth flow of materials to meet production demands.
This role involves a Shift Pattern:
- 6 am – 2pm
- 10 am – 7pm
- Saturday / Sunday 6am -2pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Unloading: Managing the intake of raw materials, including unloading from trucks or other transportation methods, and ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of raw material inventory, tracking usage, and ensuring adequate stock levels to support production.
- Quality Control: Performing inspections of incoming materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Material Handling: Operating equipment like forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and store raw materials.
- Coordination: Working with suppliers, production teams, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues related to raw material supply.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of material intake, quality control checks, and inventory levels.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Forklift License or Experience: Operating material handling equipment.
- Inventory Management Skills: Tracking and managing stock levels.
- Quality Control Experience: Performing inspections and ensuring materials meet standards.
- Communication and Coordination Skills: Working effectively with different teams and suppliers.
- Physical Fitnessand Manual Dexterity: For handling materials and operating equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office in particular Excel
- Excellent Communication Skills both verbal and written
- Fluency in English essential and must be confident in dealing with clients and vendors
