We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative with a clean driving record to join our team. This dual-role position involves performing general warehouse duties and completing deliveries. You’ll be responsible for picking, packing, loading and delivering goods efficiently and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Duties:
· Receive, unpack, inspect and store incoming goods
· Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
· Load and unload delivery vehicles
· Conduct stock checks and report discrepancies
· Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
· Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet trucks
Delivery Duties:
· Deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner
· Load and unload items securely and safely
· Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency
· Obtain customer signatures and ensure proof of delivery
· Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues
· Comply with all road safety regulations and company procedures
Requirements:
· Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery role (preferred)
· Valid driving license with a clean record
· Good physical fitness – ability to lift and move heavy items
· Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
· Good communication and customer service skills
· Forklift license (desirable, but not essential)
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm
