The Role:
The successful candidate will ensure warranty claims are submitted, processed, and tracked in line with the manufacturers’ policy thereby meeting or exceeding customer and company expectations in terms of warranty contributions. You will ensure customers are dealt with professionally adhering to the manufacturer and dealership procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process, submit, and track warranty claims in line with the manufacturer’s policy thereby meeting or exceeding customer and company expectations in terms of warranty claims.
- Liaise with aftersales staff on the progress of warranty claims when required.
- Process warranty job cards from the service advisors and update the system entering the appropriate claim codes to indicate the cause, make of part, fault diagnosis and detail of the customer complaint and any other information required.
- Regularly review the Warranty Bulletins and implement / communicate changes identified with appropriate staff.
- Liaise with manufacturer for information/approval on contributions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge in respect of all vehicles.
- Complete all appropriate paperwork for each warranty claim.
- Partake in manufacturer warranty training, audits as and when required.
- Complete any other appropriate administrative activities as specified by the Line Manager.
Requirements:
- Motor sector experience preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of CDK/Kerridge is an advantage as is good technical understanding of vehicles.
- Computer literate - Experience in using Microsoft applications and web-based portals.
- Strong communication skills with internal and external customers, suppliers, and the manufacturer.
- Strong problem-solving ability to identify and resolve issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Possess strong attention to detail with administrative functions.
- Ability to work independently in a busy, active environment, managing own time and workflow effectively.
- Present a consistently professional image to both internal and external customers, through attitude & behaviour.
- Build strong interdepartmental relationships and pay close attention to other department requirements.
- Resident in Ireland.
- Able to work 40hr week.
