My client is a fast-growing provider of cutting-edge print management solutions and is currently expanding their web development team. They are looking for one enthusiastic graduate to join their in-house development group, working across both front-end and back-end technologies. If you’re passionate about building modern web applications and want to develop your skills in a supportive setting, this is the opportunity for you.
They are looking for a self-motivated learner with a genuine passion for technology, ideally someone with a personal portfolio that demonstrates hands-on experience with the technologies listed. Candidates who have continued learning beyond graduation and can showcase their skills through GitHub projects will be highly regarded.
Please note: there will be a live technical test following the first interview. As such, practical experience will play a significant role in the selection process.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs for efficient system communication
- Contribute to back-end development using Java and Spring Boot
- Work with databases including Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and Firebase Firestore
- Deploy with Docker and organise code with a monorepo
- Write reliable unit and integration tests using Jest, Cypress, and React Testing Library
- Collaborate with designers using Figma to transform wireframes into functional UI
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and the continuous improvement of web applications
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Solid knowledge of React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Experience with Node.js and Express for backend services
- Familiarity with RESTful API integration and database interaction
- Comfortable using Git for version control
- Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot framework
- Familiarity with Docker, Webpack, Module Federation, and Monorepo structures
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, and React Testing Library
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS
- Exposure to Redux, Material UI, Framer Motion, and design tools like Figma
- Understanding of Agile development practices
