Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Sales Executive to support our expanding operations. This is an urgent hire, ideal for someone who can hit the ground running—managing existing customer orders, driving new sales across our product portfolio, and providing top-tier service to internal and external stakeholders. This role is office-based, with occasional travel to meet customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming orders and manage day-to-day account activities for existing customers
- Proactively sell the full portfolio of solar equipment (panels, batteries, inverters, mounting kits, EV chargers, etc.)
- Liaise with internal teams (logistics, accounts, technical) to ensure timely delivery and excellent customer service
- Track and chase aged debts, issue invoices, and support financial housekeeping
- Maintain up-to-date CRM records and follow up on quotations and open opportunities
- Provide accurate product information and support to contractors and trade customers
- Attend occasional site visits or customer meetings as required (travel expenses covered)
- Support senior sales leadership with reporting and forecasting where needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or account management (B2B preferred)
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven relationship-building skills and a confident, professional demeanour
- Strong IT skills including CRM systems, Excel, and email communication
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Full, clean driver’s licence
- Solar industry experience is desirable but not essential—training will be provided
