Job Purpose
To support the work flows surrounding the workshop department, and the monitoring of the fleet of hire equipment. To support the work shop manager in the administration tasks of the work shop through the integration of Syrinx and other related technology platforms and systems.

As part of its diversification strategy the Group entered the UK plant hire market through the acquisition of Mr Plant Hire in 2014. Through AER Rents the Group has continued to expand in the hire market in the UK and Ireland with the subsequent acquisitions of Drogheda Hire and Sales, Mainline Group, Welfare 4 Hire, Chippindale Plant and Hudson Lifting.
Key skills & Duties
Monitor fleet service information and update service records, including GA1 service records.
Raise/Monitor special parts purchase orders.
Proactively monitor fleet and schedule required standard and preventative maintenance schedules.
Support the implementation of ongoing improvements to the Syrinx platform and supporting the workshop manager and related team.
Assisting with regular compliance audits to ensure legal compliance.
Maintain the Fleet Asset records and carry out cycle counts on fleet equipment.
Maintain and improve the fleet tracking process and procedures.
Provide ad hoc ICT support and training, particularly in relation to Syrinx.
Qualifications & Experience
Industry experience in a similar role, construction plant, transport, truck and trailer sectors. Ideally a minimum of 3 years work experience in a related role.
Previous administration experience
In depth understanding of MS Office and in particular Excel
Knowledge and experience of a range of workflow software platforms.
