We are currently seeking to recruit a Yard Assistant to work in our Yard Department
Main Duties:
- Assisting customers picking loading their vehicles with materials and check off against items purchased
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks using forklift
- Prepare customer orders for delivery
- Goods in / checking off stock
- Maintain a clean & tidy yard
- Assist in stock counting
- Other adhoc tasks as reasonably requested
Attributes:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to communicate with colleagues and customers in a friendly and helpful manner
- Ability to work on own initative as well as part of a team
- Full Drivers License Required
- Forklift Experience Required
- Knowledge of Building Materials Required
- Previous Experience in similar Role desirable
