We are currently inviting applications for the position of Chef de Partie to join our team at The Red Cow Inn.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of dishes to suit our guests needs.
- Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the senior chefs to meet the standard and the quality set by the Restaurant.
- Coordinates daily tasks with the Senior Chef
- Ensure that the production, preparation, and presentation of food are always of the highest quality.
- Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
- Follows good HACCP practices for the proper handling and preparation of all food products at the right temperature.
- Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning.
- Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
- Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a kitchen.
- 3rd level qualification is desired but not essential.
- Should possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
