The Role
As our next part-time Commercial Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our projects running smoothly - handling invoices, contracts, purchase orders, and commercial reporting. You’ll work closely with our Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and Accounts Team, ensuring everything is processed accurately and on time. This position can be based in our Head Office in Waterford City (near SETU), or in our Cork Office (Little Island), working onsite either 3 full days per week, or 5 half days.

The Tasks Involved
- Invoice Management – Raise and process invoices & credit notes via COINS (our financial software), liaising with clients, subbies and QS teams.
- Project & Contract Setup – Set up and maintain project details, manage approvals, and track progress.
- Commercial Support – Generate PO reports, update trackers, and support audit & compliance processes.
- Team Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to keep operations on track.
The Skills and Experience Required
- Lots of admin experience, ideally in the Construction sector, with exposure to invoicing and commercial activities.
- Knowledge of COINS (or similar financial/ERP software).
- Excellent organisation & attention to detail—you love keeping things shipshape.
- Strong communication & IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
- A proactive team player who’s ready to make a difference!
