We are looking for a meticulous Construction Surveyor to join our team in Limerick.
Responsibilities:
Accurately set out key structural elements on site including foundations, grids, cores, columns, and inserts in line with project drawings and specifications.
Perform detailed site surveys and topographical assessments to inform and validate project execution.
Utilize and maintain precision instruments such as robotic total stations, GNSS equipment, digital levels, and laser scanners.
Read and interpret technical plans, digital models, and BIM outputs to extract accurate data for setting out.
Coordinate with site management, structural engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and positional integrity throughout the build.
Maintain clear and accurate records of control points, benchmarks, and set-out activities.
Identify and report any inconsistencies between site conditions and project plans, recommending adjustments where necessary.
Support the establishment and upkeep of survey control networks.
Conduct as-built verifications to confirm completed work meets design intent and tolerances.
Adhere to all applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards in the execution of surveying tasks.
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree or diploma in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
Hands-on experience in setting out for structural and infrastructure works.
Proficient in survey software and CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble, Leica, or similar.
Solid understanding of engineering tolerances, site control principles, and coordinate systems.
Familiarity with digital construction tools and techniques including BIM and 3D modeling is advantageous.
