Summary:
The Final Mile Executive will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction with all assigned accounts. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, a strong understanding of processes which are all key in collectively delivering an excellent customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, in a professional and timely manner.
Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with internal departments such as operations, sales, and transport to address customer needs.
Track and monitor shipments, providing customers with updates and resolving any delays or issues.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, plus assist the wider team with month-end invoicing.
Assist in the development and implementation of customer service policies and procedures.
Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate channels.
Support all continuous improvement initiatives including cross departmental projects through proactive engagement
Proactively support and fully comply with the Companies Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Assist in other functions within the Final Mile team on a project basis, when requested.
Person Specification:
Essential Criteria:
Aiming towards successful completion of 3rd level education (diploma, degree, master’s etc.)
Previous experience in working in an office environment and also dealing with customers is advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle stressful situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inhouse Company software (Azyra).
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management is a plus but not essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
