Job Title: Fleet Supervisor

About the Company:
DPD Ireland leads the field in next day parcel delivery throughout Ireland, with 36 regionally based collection and delivery depots and a state of the art central sorting hub in Athlone, Co. Westmeath.
Purpose of the role:
The Fleet Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the Fleet Administrator in their day to day role, dealing with escalations. They will also assist the manager in maintaining relationships and ensuring optimal operational efficiency, compliance with regulations, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires organisational skills and a good understanding of fleet management.
Job Responsibilities:
Audit / Declarations
- Conduct audit of vehicle recharges to ensure accuracy
- Conduct in person audits in depots reporting on vehicle condition
- Follow up with depots after audits to review findings
Payments
- Track invoices from supplier and ensure accuracy of the billing process
Training
- New and existing staff should be given a welcome pack of information which will be their ‘go to’ guide on how to manage their fleet effectively as part of our insurance group
- Encourage independence and confidence in the depot leaders to manage their day to day challenges
- Training on all systems through video calling platform if not completed in person
Telematics Footage
- Assist, guide or execution of pulling footage using the telematics system
Issues
- Liaise with telematics and depot
- Encourage and guidance to depot to ‘self-serve’
- Problem solve with depot to pinpoint issue
- Escalate if necessary
Relationship/Account Management
- Liaise with vehicle suppliers, garages and OEMS
- Update and review KPI’s This for supervisor
Depot/Network Assistance
- Aiding depots in carrying out maintenance on the fleet
- Assisting the network on sourcing vehicles
- Aiding in vehicle breakdowns and VOR
People Management
- Supervises and guides the Fleet Administrator in their daily tasks and long-term objectives to ensure efficient fleet operations.
- Supports and collaborates effectively within a team to achieve departmental goals and targets.

Experience Preferred:
- 3 years experience working with a large scale fleet
- Microsoft Office/Google Suite
- Fleet Management Systems / Telematics
Qualifications Preferred:
- CE license
