We are seeking an experienced Baker for our award-winning bakery in Portlaoise. We are offering 5 days per week, no Sundays. Usual shift is 7am - 3.30pm but we are flexible. No late nights or split shifts. Pay starts at €16.00 per hour but is dependant on experience. If you have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a busy commercial bakery, a passion for baking, and excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you!
Working Hours:

Key Responsibilities:
- Baking for our busy cafe and online business. You should have experience in baking a wide variety of cakes, brioche doughs and pastries.
- Quality decorating and presentation
- Bake from scratch. We do not use cake mixes!
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with HACCP (preferably holding at least level 2 HACCP certification)
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Dependable and reliable
- Passion and flair for baking and presentation
- Excellent communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Fluency in English
Ideal Candidate:
- Can work independently
- Reliable and able to handle a fast-paced environment
- Has experience making traybakes, cakes, doughs & pastries.
