Nazareth Care Ireland is seeking to recruit a Human Resources Administrator. Reporting directly to the Group HR Manager, the HR Administrator will play a key role in supporting the full employee life cycle and contributing to a range of HR initiatives. This position provides HR support to our seven nursing homes across the island of Ireland, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services to staff and management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day administration of the HR department.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment administration process, including:
o Job advertising
o First-level candidate screening
o Interview scheduling
o Garda Vetting / Criminal Record Check applications
o Work Permit applications / Access Northern Ireland checks
o NMC (Northern Ireland) and NISC registration checks
o Reference checking
o Issuing job offers and contracts
o Prepare and present recruitment statistics for monthly HR reports.
o Support HR initiatives that promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
o Assist with the rollout of HR projects, with a focus on wellness, inclusion, and diversity.
Requirements:
Minimum of 18 months' experience in HR administration.
HR qualification or currently studying towards one.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Experience with Garda Vetting and Employment Permit application processes.
Familiarity with HR systems such as Softworks and Occupop.
Previous experience in the healthcare sector is desirable but not essential.
