We are looking for a team leader to join our team of industrial cleaners.
Core Responsibilities
- Supervise Staff
- Coordinate and manage a team of industrial cleaners.
- Assign daily cleaning tasks and monitor performance.
- Ensure cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Training & Onboarding
- Train new cleaning staff on safety procedures, equipment use, and cleaning standards.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development to team members.
- Quality Control
- Conduct inspections to ensure cleaning standards meet client and health/safety requirements.
- Report and address any quality issues or non-compliance.
- Health & Safety Compliance
- Ensure all staff comply with health and safety regulations (e.g. use of PPE, COSHH).
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety procedures.
- Use of Machinery and Chemicals
- Supervise correct use of industrial cleaning equipment (e.g. floor scrubbers, pressure washers).
- Ensure proper handling, dilution, and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- Reporting & Communication
- Maintain records of completed work, incidents, and stock levels.
- Communicate with management and clients on job progress, issues, or requirements.
- Stock & Equipment Management
- Monitor and reorder cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
- Ensure all tools and machinery are maintained and in working condition.
- Shift and Rota Planning
- Create and manage staff schedules to cover all shifts.
- Handle staff absences or shortages efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €15.00-€18.00 per hour
Experience:
- Industrial cleaning: 2 years (required)
