Internal Account Manager
We have an exciting new opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team. As your role of Internal Account Manager you will have the opportunity to support our team of Area Business Managers throughout Ireland. The role will involve a mix of lead generation, new business sales, and repeat sales. You will work directly with our customers in conjunction with the Area Business Managers. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director. The Internal Account Manager role is based in 3 Stannaway Drive, Crumlin, Dublin 12.
Responsibilities
The Internal Account Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Dealing with customers by phone and email, in discussing, selecting and specifying appropriate product to meet the customer’s requirements.
- Pro-actively identifying new potential customers and contacting existing and new customers by phone to determine if they have potential requirements and closing out sales.
- Assessing customer requirements, through pro-active interaction and based on experience and product knowledge.
- Liaising with fellow colleagues in obtaining pricing, quotations and proposals to meet customers’ requirements.
- Following up enquiries received from Area Business Managers and preparing proposals for customers to meet these enquiries.
- Logging enquiries on the sales system, HubSpot. Pro-actively following up enquiries with customers, and sales representatives and in doing so, keeping the sales enquiry database up to date.
- Visiting customers occasionally and as required.
- Ad hoc duties as required.
Candidate Profile
- Knowledge of at least one of the following markets: Automotive, Commercial, Agricultural, Construction or Industrial markets would be advantageous.
- Strong Communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and an Organised individual.
- Ability to learn and retain technical information.
- Good IT skills.
