Job Title: Kennel Steward
Permanent, Part-time (Minimum 6 hours per week) Monday - Saturday
Primary Work Location: Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Support raceday operations, including watering or raking the track as required.
Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including the car park, kennels, wash area, and weigh room.
Collect payments for official trials using the Clover payment machine.
Assist in the smooth and efficient running of official trials.
Ensure greyhounds are securely locked in their assigned kennels after weigh-in.
Open kennels ahead of races and coordinate access.
Ensure all parade participants are wearing the correct parade jackets.
Manage and maintain control of race sheets and parade jackets.
Maintain the security of the kennel area between races.
Oversee the proper conduct of greyhound parading by participants.
Liaise effectively with the Racing Manager and Control Steward throughout the event.
