Job Description
Lightplan Lighting is seeking an experienced and passionate Lighting Showroom Consultant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with lighting showroom experience or a similar sector. A background or qualification in interior design would be a distinct advantage. We’re looking for someone who is driven, knowledgeable, and ready to help us grow our business.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and consult with clients in the showroom and on-site, providing expert lighting advice.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of lighting products, technologies, and applications.
- Offer tailored lighting solutions for residential and commercial projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with interior designers, architects, and private clients.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate lighting to complement their spaces and meet functional needs.
- Interpret architectural plans and contribute to lighting designs.
- Support the management of ongoing lighting projects from concept to completion.
- Help establish new trade accounts and grow the customer base.
- Collaborate with the lighting design team to deliver bespoke solutions.
- Identify and introduce new brands to expand the product offering.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, innovations, and technologies.
- Maintain showroom displays and ensure the space reflects the latest products and designs.
- Provide after-sales support and maintain excellent customer service standards.
- Contribute to business development efforts and strategies for growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record of success in developing and managing partnerships
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
