The Manager/Sports Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of the daily operations at St Mary’s Edgeworthstown Community Campus ltd, Edgeworthstown Co Longford
Duties include-
- management and engagement of clients and their activities
- day to day management including staff management
- be the main point of contact for the Centre and provide a positive focal point for the relevant local communities, groups and organisations
- to support the promotion of participation in sport, leisure, educational and recreational activities, whilst maximising the use of the Centre
Main duties and responsibilities
- Ensure that all activities and usage of the Centre are carried out safely and in accordance with the Centre's Policies - Health and Safety, Good Governance Policies and Procedures etc.
- Act as the main point of contact for Community Centre, ensuring excellent customer service
- Staff management - supervising, rostering, training and relevant record keeping etc. Staff development and education in conjunction with CE and TUS supervisors
- Build on existing income stream and usage-provide future direction for the Centre and promote further community engagement
- Develop close working relationships with all stakeholders
- To apply for relevant grants and funding for the Centre to ensure financial sustainability and to expand on the current range of services etc.
- Ensure effective maintenance of the building – including maintenance programmes, ensuring the supervision of contractors and others regarding maintenance work in the building in line with the safe system of work
- Overseeing invoicing of all Clients in a timely manner. Ensuring financial systems are adhered to, and financial information is prepared for the annual audit
- Report on a regular basis to Community Centre Committee
