Job Title: Administrative Officer / Administrator

About Us:Longford School Completion Programme (SCP) is a targeted service for young people who require additional support to get the most from their education. The Longford SCP project focuses on:
- Improving children’s attendance at school
- Improving children’s participation in school (involvement in class and school activities)
- Improving children’s retention (staying in school).
We are seeking a proactive and organised Administrative Officer to join our team and support the smooth running of daily operations .
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative and clerical support.
- Manage correspondence, phone calls, and emails.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and databases.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and coordinating events.
- Monitor office supplies and handle procurement when required.
- Support HR, finance, and management with administrative tasks.
- Ensure efficient day-to-day office operations.
- Any other tasks as they may arise
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Experience in supporting and preparing financial tasks and reports
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Desirable But Not Essential: Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
