Role Title: On Call Administrator
Reporting To: Home Support Senior Manager or Designee
Based: Dublin 12
Purpose of the Role:
CareGivers Ireland are CareGivers Ireland are currently seeking a dedicated On Call Administrator for our Dublin office. The successful applicant in this role will form part of an out-of-hours support team, ensuring seamless communication and support for our care providers, clients and their families.
This position operates on a rostered basis, covering evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Candidates must be available to work during these times:
· Monday to Friday Evenings: 4pm – 9.30pm
· Saturday and Sundays: 7am to 2pm or 2pm to 9.30pm
Primary Responsibilities:
· Act as an out-of-hours emergency contact for staff, clients, and Next of Kin (NoK).
· Respond promptly and professionally to queries from staff, clients, and families.
· Coordinate emergency cover for care services.
· Assist with day-to-day scheduling of care providers.
· Provide ad hoc cover for office team as required.
· Support daily administrative tasks, including maintaining databases and preparing reports.
· Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
· Report all out-of-hours actions accurately and promptly.
· Undertake other ad hoc duties as necessary.
Key Skills, Competencies & Requirements:
· Carer experience and/or a Carer qualification would be an advantage, with a commitment to ongoing relevant training.
· Deliver high standards of care and support with compassion.

· Demonstrated strong organisational skills.
· Ability to work reliably and maintain confidentiality.
· Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Undergo Garda vetting and maintain ongoing Garda clearance.
· Report concerns of abuse immediately to the Line Manager and comply with Child Protection policy/Children First, attending Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults and Children First Training.
· Adhere to CGI's operational policies and procedures.
· Be a resident in Ireland and have the relevant and valid working permit in possession.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required
· Minimum of one year's experience in an administrative support role within a dynamic office environment.
· Experience in providing professional services to clients.
· Comfort working with confidential information.
· Prior customer care experience.
· Scheduling experience in a relevant sector is preferred.

Our OnCall Administrator Rates:
Weekdays: €16 per hour
Saturday: €20 per hour
Sundays & Bank Holidays: €24 per hour
Christmas Day: €48 per hour (triple of weekday hourly rates)
