Job Purpose
The Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our insurance brokerage. You will oversee day-to-day office operations and administration while supporting the wider team through process improvement, compliance adherence, and strategic operational support.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a passion for efficiency, and enjoys making a tangible impact.
You’ll be based in our Dundalk office, with working hours of:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Your responsibilities day to day will be…
- Office Management: Manage facilities, procurement, and a productive office environment.
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline processes and improve business-wide efficiencies.
- Business Improvement: Lead on data enrichment and lead generation to drive commercial performance.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure regulatory compliance and liaise with legal and compliance teams.
- Claims Administration: Assist clients with claims while adhering to regulatory standards.
- General Administration: Maintain high-quality, compliant document management.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve workflows and systems.
- Team Support: Be the go-to for operational queries and admin support.
- Onboarding: Involvement in onboarding/offboarding, with a focus on sales agent readiness.
- Team Management: Lead the operations team (customer service, lead gen, and admin).
What do we expect of you?
- Experience in an operations or office management role, preferably within insurance or professional services.
- APA qualification is desirable but not essential—support will be provided to complete relevant insurance certifications.
- Strong organisation, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with insurance compliance and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and business management systems.
- Strong team leadership and third party negotiation skills.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset.
Qualifications
- Experience in an operations or office management role, preferably within insurance or professional services.
