Job Title: Process Technician
We have an exciting new opening for a Process Technician to support our Engineering department in Parkmore, Co. Galway.
Role:
Monitor and operate the equipment in accordance with operational instructions. Perform inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of the equipment in accordance with operational instructions. The Process Technician will provide Engineering support to development projects and manufacturing lines. Communicates any concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, production output or safety issues to their Manager.
The role operates as part of a multidisciplinary team including operations and production and requires extensive interaction with both clients and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Identify line problems and take appropriate actions to address.
- Inspect and test new tooling, fixtures and equipment.
- Complete documentation in an accurate manner in accordance with the requirements of GMP.
- Identify, monitor and close-out all production specific preventative maintenance activities in a timely manner.
- Use own initiative to suggest and implement continuous improvement activities, such as modifications to the line to improve output.
- Assist other Engineering team members in the installation and validation of new equipment and product lines.
- Adhere to all relevant Quality procedures, including procedures related to material flow, material handling, processing of defective material, acceptance and rejection procedures where applicable.
- Support and assist the Engineering manager when required.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience working with production equipment and machinery.
- Strong knowledge of a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, flow diagrams and specifications.
- Ability to work under own initiative and assume responsibility MEDICAL wherever the need arises.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
- Third level qualification preferred i.e. Engineering Diploma/FETAC Certificate in Engineering or similar.

Monday to Thursday: 07:45am – 4:15pm
Friday: 07:45am – 3:15pm
