Programme Coordinator/Administrator

We are seeking to hire an Programme Administrator to join our team in one of our four colleges, Progressive College.
The Programme Coordinator/Programme Administrator will work closely with the College to support and enhance the relationships between the College, its academic staff and current/potential learners. They will have an ability to relate to and empathise with potential learners and effectively discharge the duties required for the development and maintenance of good working relationships, particularly with external partners as well as academic and non-academic colleagues across the College.
Principal Duties
- Act as the first point of contact for students regarding programme queries, providing guidance on processes, deadlines, and support services.
- Maintain accurate student records, including enrolment, attendance, progression, and assessment outcomes.
- Facilitate communication between students, lecturers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective information flow.
- Assist in the organisation of programme validation, review, and accreditation activities.
- Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of programme effectiveness, including student feedback and performance data.
- Support academic and teaching staff with programme administration, including exam boards, moderation processes, and reporting requirements.
- Liaise with external partners, placement providers, and professional bodies as required, particularly in relation to healthcare-related training programmes.
- Support events such as open days, induction, and graduation ceremonies
- Such other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal effectively with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in record-keeping and reporting.
- Proficiency in IT systems including MS Office, student records systems, and virtual learning environments (VLEs).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
