Vacancy: 037725 - Senior Postdoctoral Researcher - Programmable Autonomous Systems (PAS)
Contract: Specified Purpose wholetime contract to June 2027
Salary: The gross salary scale applicable to the post is: €42,943 - €46,441 p.a. as at 01/03/2025.
Walton Institute is looking to hire an Experienced Postdoctoral Researcher to work on developing the core framework for graph-based sensor deployment and localization, and formulating relationship between sensor data and visualization dashboard for the clinicians. Walton Institute in SETU will lead European Commission funded ‘ENACT (Environmental Effect on Health Care and Wellbeing and Active Interventions)’ under Horizon Europe Programme Cluster 1 - Health.
The overall objective of ENACT is twofold: first, to derive a model assessing the exposomic risk (risk score based on poli-environmental exposures) of hospitalization for acute vascular and nonvascular NCD across different populations and locales; second, to translate this risk from population to the individual level, predicting the risk of developing preclinical asymptomatic stages of disease.
If you are interested in working in a unique research organisation within the higher education sector, Walton Institute offers a culture that promotes autonomy and the pursuit of individual interests and ideas. We are excited about opportunities that will create new technologies, advance existing ones and we will actively support the commercialization process of these technologies.
Applications by SETU e-Recruitment system only. Applications will not be accepted in any other format. Please log on to www.SETU.ie/vacancies for further details and to apply for this position.
