As a Solution Engineer Manager, you will manage a team of highly talented and skilled SEs, driving the day-to-day execution to exceed business performance targets and coaching team members. The Solution Engineer SE team consists of highly capable salespeople that drive Microsoft wins on the latest cloud and modern development technologies. The team members’ primary responsibilities will be to engage with customers as the central point of contact all the way driving additional adoption and consumption of workloads across our latest cloud technologies. - Drive ACR achievement for the team through strong sales discipline, technical sales expertise, technical fluency, and build credibility as a domain ‘thought-leader’ to land more Azure deployment for customers Drive SE in leveraging market leadership momentum and Microsoft best of Platform approach to stay ahead of competition and accelerate customer technical decision making. Maximize SE attainment through strong coaching and removing issues/obstacles to focus on meeting customer’s technical requirements. Win opportunities for the team for activating new or accelerating growth in customers with the targeted FY26 Azure Solution Plays Leverage a combination of the following in all opportunities where applicable - programs like Proactive Proposal, ECIF, Offerings, ACO, RFP Desk, DWR/IAR and position the value of Azure, supported by Solution Assessments and Business Cases. % and $ ACR growth in the managed accounts
- Support SE in landing Microsoft end-to-end technical value proposition of Azure as a differentiator and competitive advantage to gain thought leadership. Drive rigor in SE utilization of Azure Accelerate pre- and post-sales investments on all qualified/eligible opportunities to accelerate deals from uncommit to commit stage and reduce time to ACR Coach Cloud & AI Platforms Solutions Engineers to: Identify and position Unified Enhanced Solutions and CAF to drive ACR and customer outcomes. Partner with the Unified Sales Manager to co-sell and attach to over 30% of the pipeline, supporting Unified and platform targets. # of technical wins by SE
- Leading the SEs in the POD model to ensure clarity on the new model & orchestration with other teams in selling (e.g., ATU, STU, CSU, Partner, etc.) Support SE in identifying new opportunities for further workloads and net new POC milestones in customer engagements Coach SE to be very comfortable and regularly update milestones status in sales tools (MSX) and participate in pipeline managing processes (SCRUM). Foster and exemplify deep technical capability across Infrastructure, Data Fabric, and AI Application domains by guiding the team to attain L300 solution expertise and architectural depth in areas like cloud migration, Azure Databases, analytics with Fabric and Databricks, AI Foundry, app architecture, DevOps, AI/ML frameworks, GitHub, and cloud-native development—while also ensuring broad L200-level knowledge across all Azure workloads. Act as a leader and champion best practices sharing across teams for improved learning and alignment to company objectives. # of managed milestones, # of POC, % complete training & certification

Required Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
